The new Palestinian government of national unity doesn’t recognize Israel

Talks which were held in Mecca by Hamas partisans and Fatah ones, did not emerge with any sign that would satisfy Israel or the international community, indeed a Hamas political adviser for Ismaeil Haniyeh reported the new Palestinian unity government that is going to be formed after Mecca deal will not recognise the Hebrew state.

 

The new government of national unity will respect former peace agreements with Israel but would never admit the existence of a Jewish state in the holy land “Palestine”, this is what reported Ahmad Youssef.

 

What is amazing is the fact Hamas and Fatah as well, are totally aware of the main conditions for the quartet (USA, united nations, Russia and European Union) to lift sanctions on Hamas, that is recognizing Israel, international middle east negotiators are categorical about this point and Palestinian leaders are so.

 

But the issue of recognition was not issued at all in Mecca according to Youssef, this latter warned the international community that if the aid boycott continues on Hamas it would lead to more violence in Palestinian territories and won’t resolve any problem.

 

It is mentioned quartet imposed financial sanction on Palestinian since Hamas won parliamentary election last January 2006.

 Besides, the US secretary of state Condoleezza Rice said in a press conference held two weeks ago in Washington about the situation in the Middle East that no peace could be reached without recognising the other part…
