Palestinian worshippers anger over Israeli works in el Aksa Hundreds of Palestinians and especially worshippers those with a deep faith showed their anger and stupefaction over the endless Israeli renovation works, Palestinians fear those works would damage the mosque of el Aksa which is the third holiest site in Islam. Islamic citizens threw stones and scuffled with the police after the Friday prayer, screaming anti Israeli and Jewish slogans.   About 200 police streamed on to the hilltop compound known to Muslims as the Noble Sanctuary and to Jews as the Temple Mount, to try to quell the violence, inside el Aksa mosque, dozens of demonstrators barricaded themselves, in the hope that Israel put an end to repairs works an earthen ramp leading to the hilltop compound.   As usual the police reported several, protesters officer and even old people injured, but this time there was no grave damage.  Besides, Israeli forces and police know what to expect on Friday mornings, therefore it triples its number since it is obvious there would always be a confrontation, so was the case this Friday where clashes erupted at the holy site, about 3,000 security officers where present in the site waiting for any Palestinian to went beyond its limits or scream too loud to kill him and pretext he is a terrorist.
